UK productivity drops at fastest pace since 2013 – ONS

Britain's productivity slumped at its fastest pace since 2013 in the 12 months after the Brexit-vote, according to data from the Office for National Statistics.

Hourly output in the three months to June was 0.3 percent lower compared to the last year. No larger drop has been seen since the third quarter of 2013.

Economists stress that the UK's productivity continues to fall behind its major trading partners among Group of Seven nations.
