British lawmakers are preparing to elect today an incomer to the House of Commons Speaker John Bercow. Recall, the Speaker of HofC addresses procedural disputes, parliament’s lower chamber, and manages the government’s plans, which of them are allowed to proceed.

There are 8 candidates running for this place for a moment. The investors bet Lindsay Hoyle from the Labour Party as the new Speaker. Who will take this place time will tell.

Meantime the British currency went down by 0.20 percent on Monday at 1,2908 at 14.21 GMT, while against the euro, pound slipped also by 0.14 percent, at 0.8638.
