UK to start formal Brexit process on March 29

UK will begin the procedure for the country's withdrawal from the EU on March 29, reports Reuters referring to the representative of British Prime Minister Theresa May.

President of the European Council Donald Tusk was already informed of the intention of the administration of the UK's prime minister.

In turn, Tusk will present a draft strategy for negotiations on the withdrawal of the UK to other EU members within 48 hours after receiving an official notification from London (it is planned that the document will be sent on March 29).

On March 16 Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain approved the launch of the Brexit process.
