Treasury yields hit record lows on Tuesday followed by a slide in the Japanese long bond yields to record lows today as investors continue to pour money into safe haven assets after Britain’s vote to leave the EU.The US 10-year Treasury note dipped to a record low of 1.370% as prices rose. The 30-year yield also hit a record low. Even the 50-year yield on the Swiss government bonds have been flirting with the negative territory. Meanwhile, in the UK, the 10-year gilt fell to a record low of 0.789%.In Japan, the yield on the 10-year government bond hit a record low minus 0.262% today. The yield on the 20-year note fell to zero for the first time ever. Yield on 10-year Australian bonds hit a record low 1.849%.
