In relation to Memorial Day in the United States on May, 31 2020 spot contracts on metals, metals futures, and energy futures trading will be closed at 8 p.m., earlier than usual. Agricultural futures, futures for goods, and CFDs on stocks will not be traded on that day. The rest of the trading schedule remains unchanged.
Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the US for honoring and mourning the military personnel who had died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. The holiday is observed annually on the last Monday of May.
