Deutsche Bank Hires Lisa McGeough as Americas Head from HSBC

NEW YORK, Sept 2 (Reuters) - Deutsche Bank hired Lisa McGeough as its head of the Americas region and CEO of its U.S. business, the company announced on Tuesday, after she left a similar role at HSBC months into the job.

McGeough will start at Deutsche Bank in early 2026 and report to Fabrizio Campelli, the member of the management board responsible for the corporate and investment banking units, as well as the Americas, UK and Ireland regions.

She will also join the lender's management committee.

“The Americas region is an important growth driver for Deutsche Bank, and Lisa’s extensive commercial experience in both the United States and Europe will allow us to more closely integrate regional management with the regional business divisions,” Campelli said in the statement, citing her deep client network on both sides of the Atlantic.

Paul Maley will serve as interim head of the Americas until McGeough joins.
