Germany's Hapag-Lloyd Raises 2026 Earnings Outlook

(Reuters) - German container shipping company Hapag-Lloyd on ​Monday raised its ‌full-year earnings outlook, while cautioning it could ​change due to ​a high degree of ⁠uncertainty fueled by ​volatile freight rates ​and geopolitical tensions.

The company now expects earnings before interest, ​tax, depreciation ​and amortisation (EBITDA) for the full ‌year ⁠of between $3.9 billion and $4.4 billion, it said in a statement.

It ​also ​raised ⁠its group earnings before interest ​and taxes (EBIT) forecast ​for ⁠the year to a range of $1.25 ⁠billion ​to $1.75 billion.
