XM has collaborated with Nobles Charitable Foundation and Shareteah Humanitarian Organization in Iraq to support orphans and children in need from Baghdad and Dohuk continue their education.
Many children without the support and care of family struggle to meet the basic costs going to school and are forced to drop out. We donated bags, notebooks, stationery, and school uniforms to children who can’t afford school supplies.
The number of children who stop going to school for financial reasons is high. There are more than 5 million orphans and over 1 million displaced children in Iraq. So many of them want to go to school but can’t. Without the chance to study they don’t have the opportunity to thrive and build a brighter future for themselves. Without the structure and opportunity that education brings their options are limited and most face a life of poverty.
Charities like Nobles Charitable Foundation and Shareteah Humanitarian Organization provide private lessons, school supplies and uniforms to make education easily accessible and help every child finish their education and have the means to escape poverty.
Making quality education more accessible is one of the goals of our Corporate Social Responsibility program. Over the years, XM has supported many charities committed to it and more collaborations lie ahead.
